A Paddler's Guide to Safety: This course, presented by an American Canoe Association certified paddling instructor and member of the USCG Auxiliary, is designed to introduce beginner, novice or occasional paddlers to the basic safety concepts of paddling. Paddlers who attend this course will gain a solid understanding of when to go paddling, where to go, what to bring, and how to get back safely.
